↵The Best That Never Was, 8, ESPN: Jonathan Hock, director of the awardwinning basketball documentary Through the Fire, tells the story of Marcus Dupree. After he broke Herschel Walker's national high school career rushing record, Dupree's 1981 college recruitment was a national story. Virtually every program, including the Georgia Bulldogs, pulled out all the stops for him, and he decided on the Oklahoma Sooners. What should've been a Heisman career at OU was thrown off course by a truly ridiculous streak of injuries, among other things.

↵Toledo Rockets at Northern Illinois Huskies, 7, ESPN2: Not sure how to express this, but this is a big game. If by big game you generally infer that it's a game with something on the line, then... well, both teams are undefeated in the MAC and play in the same division. Winner clinches the MAC title game, which all but locks up a bowl appearance. The MAC only sends three teams to bowls, and the MAC's other division has two teams -- the Temple Owls and Ohio Bobcats -- that have a very good shot. So, yes: this game could be the difference between a team playing in a bowl and not. It won't be worldwide brand football, but it'll be football played with intent and COME ON IT'S TUESDAY.
↵Arizona Cardinals at Minnesota Vikings replay, 8, NFL Network: Brett Favre posts the highest yardage total of his NFL career, plus a late comeback attempt for old times' sake? Why not!
↵↵↵Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets at Virginia Tech Hokies replay, 9, CSS: This was the best all-around effort the Jackets have trotted out since last year's ACC Championship Game. Joshua Nesbitt broke a conference record and quite possibly played his last college down.
↵Kansas City Chiefs at Oakland Raiders replay, 9:15, NFL Network: Raiders, and former Clemson Tigers, WR Jacoby Ford was hands-down the player of the week, or maybe more like hands-up, or even just hands swiping everything away from a totally embarrassed Brandon Flowers.
