2010 ACC Championship Game, Florida State Vs. Virginia Tech: Picks And Odds

Virginia Tech has done nothing but win since they switched from the Big East to the ACC. The Hokies have been to the championship game 3 times, winning twice, and won the conference in 2004, the year before the championship's first game. Their only loss came in 2005 against Florida State.

The current line is 4.5 in favor of Virginia Tech. Heather Dinich of ESPN picks the Hokies to win by a score of 28-27, and Stewart Mandel of Sports Illustrated has Tech winning 30-21. Rivals.com's five experts are leaning towards the Hokies as well, with four picking Tech and only one expecting a Seminole win.

As for me? It is hard to pick against the experience of Virginia Tech and Frank Beamer over a first year coach in Jimbo Fisher and a Seminole team finally returning to the spotlight. Tech hasn't lost in 83 days, winning 10 consecutively . It will be a close game, but the Hokies will win their 11th straight and be playing in the Orange Bowl come January.
