ACC Championship Game Score: Tyrod Taylor Throws For Touchdown, Virginia Tech Leads FSU 21-10

I did a great job jinxing Virginia Tech in the last update, pointing out that Virginia Tech's offense has been fairly one-sided with a strong running game. Senior quarterback Tyrod Taylor threw for 78 yards and the touchdown on 6-of-8 passing to increase the Hokie lead to 21-10.

The drive went for 13 plays and covered 91 yards, the second longest scoring drive in ACC Championship game history.

Taylor converted on all three third-downs faced in the drive, all on passes. He completed passes to four different receivers, and the last one for the score was caught by Jarret Boykin for 19 yards.

After stopping the Hokie offense on the first drive, FSU's defense has struggled and not given Virgina Tech much of a challenge. They will need to step up to give quarterback EJ Manuel a chance at the comeback.
