Georgia Tech picked two more commitments this weekend, both of whom mainly play on the defensive side of the ball. Kyle Travis, from Atlanta-area South Forsyth HS, played many positions according to Chip Towers, including defensive end, offensive line, and fullback. The Tech coaches project him as an outside linebacker. Sean Tobin played his high school ball in New Jersey as a long snapper and linebacker.
Travis is not ranked according to Scout.com. He is listed at 6'5" and 230 pounds. He was choosing between Tech and Georgia Southern.
Tobin is listed at 6'3", 230 pounds, and spent time in high school playing linebacker and long snapper. Believe it or not, there is a YouTube video of him working on snapping. He turned down a visit to Virginia Tech, so the Jackets weren't the only ones interested. Here is a full video of him playing at both positions:

With these two additions, and with the losses of Darrius Caldwell and Ammon Lakip, the current commitment list stands at 23 for Tech. There isn't a whole lot more room in the class, but the Jackets still have outstanding offers to a few highly ranked recruits.
Nine days until National Signing Day.
