VIDEO: Calvin Johnson's Monday Night Football Touchdown

Our new weekly thing: highlight videos of Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets legend Calvin Johnson. Monday night, he set a new NFL record with nine touchdown catches in five season-opening games and waking up any who hadn't been paying attention to the fact that he's a viable MVP candidate for the still-undefeated Detroit Lions.

Here's the game's opening score, a Matthew Stafford rainbow that ends with Megatron bellowing GET THEE BEHIND ME and trotting for six:

With former Peach State studs Johnson and Stafford, along with Ford Field's similarities to the Georgia Dome, one could see the Lions catching on around the southeast a little bit if the Atlanta Falcons aren't able to make the playoffs. Just saying. While there's no team I'd ever root for ahead of the Falcons, I could certainly get on board with a Lions Super Bowl run if the Birds can't make it.
