Georgia Tech Vs. Virginia: Marcus Wright Leaving Yellow Jackets

Georgia Tech running back Marcus Wright will be transferring schools at the end of the school year, according to the Atlanta Journal Constitution

Wright started off the season injured and then was not finding any playing time for the No. 12 Yellow Jackets when he returned from injury. Wright played in 24 games in his Tech career and had 43 carries for 265 yards in his two year stint for Georgia Tech. Yellow Jackets head coach Paul Johnson said that he'll help Wright find a new place to play next season. via atlantajournalconstitution.com

“It was a deal (where) he was going to redshirt and so there’s no use for him to be out there in a redshirt if he’s not going to play,” Johnson said. “He needs to finish school and we’ll try to help him find a place to go.”
