Georgia Tech Vs. Virginia Score: Cavs Strike First And Second

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets haven't faced very many deficits so far this year. The Virginia Cavaliers put them in one with a six-yard Kevin Parks touchdown run, then doubled it up as Tim Smith pulled in a 37-yard touchdown pass from Michael Rocco. 14-0, Virginia, midway through the first quarter.

The big-play Jackets haven't been able to do a thing on offense so far, going three-and-out in their only possession. A penalty against Phil Smith and a sack of Tevin Washington ensured Tech wouldn't get anything going. For a team that's earned a near-top-10 ranking by scoring early and then riding out big leads, this early hole makes for a whole new ballgame.

Rocco is 5-of-6 for 65 yards already. Perry Jones has 33 yards rushing.
