The Virginia Cavaliers lead the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, 24-21, early in the fourth quarter after a 19-yard, 10-minute touchdown drive led to a Tevin Washington touchdown in the third. Three fourth-down conversions on that drive. The Jackets looked set to take the lead after a long Orwin Smith catch-and-run on their next drive, but a penalty nixed the big gain.
A block in the back call against Stephen Hill brought back an 85-yard touchdown run by Washington on that 19-play epic. This is getting to be a problem, I'd say.
Virginia's offense is still having little trouble on the ground. Perry Jones' 114 yards lead the way. With about 10 minutes to go, the Jackets had to punt the ball back to the Cavs.
