Georgia Tech Vs. Virginia Final Score: Cavs Give Jackets Loss No. 1

The blueprint is out on how to beat the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets. The Virginia Cavaliers put their game in the hands of running backs Perry Jones and Kevin Parks, rushing for 277 yards (five more than Tech) on their way to a 24-21 defeat of the previously unbeaten Jackets.

Tech had a chance with about five minutes left to get the ball back and take one more crack at the end zone. They had a chance each minute or two after that as well, but couldn't do anything to stop UVa's running game. With just under three minutes to go, the Jackets were in an all-out goal line defense and still gave up a first down to Parks.

Coming into this game, Virginia ranked No. 42 in the country in rushing offense.

The Jackets still have a chance at another ACC title game run, but their chances just got a whole lot tougher. With the Miami Hurricanes up next and Virginia Tech and Clemson on the way, the White and Gold can't afford another game like this.
