Georgia Tech Vs. Virginia Tech Score: Logan Thomas Gives Hokies Back Lead 27-26

This game is turning into a heavyweight fight with each team landing a flurry of punches. Virginia Tech retook the lead 27-26 on a 12 yard run from quarterback Logan Thomas who capped off a 74 yard Hokies' drive.

Virginia Tech was aided by a personal foul penalty against the Yellow Jackets' Jeremiah Attaochu on a sack of Thomas. That play put the Hokies in business as David Wilson ripped off a big 44 yard run down to the Tech 21 yard line. A couple of Josh Oglesby runs pulled Virginia Tech a little closer before Thomas barreled his way into the end zone. The two-point conversion attempt failed with the score remaining 27-26 in the favor of Virginia Tech.

Thomas moved ahead in his head-to-head battle with Tevin Washington scoring his fourth touchdown of the game. The Hokies' quarterback has thrown for 195 yards and two scores and has ran for 45 more yards and two more touchdowns.
