Georgia Tech Vs. Utah Score: Utes Climb To Early 7-0 Lead In The Sun Bowl

Utah Utes quarterback Jon Hays found Shawn Asiata on a misdirection pass play for 1-yard touchdown as Kyle Whittingham's squad has a 7-0 lead over the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in the Sun Bowl.

The Utes touchdown drive went for 79 yards on 7 plays, as Hays is 4-of-7 for 64 yards and a score.

Georgia Tech has shown flashes of brilliance with their triple option attack, but have yet to string positive plays together consistently to score in the first quarter. Justin Moore missed a 42-yard field goal midway through the first quarter and Tech has 115 yards on offense thus far, 109 via the run game.

Georgia Tech has the ball on their own side of the field to start in the second quarter, as Paul Johnson attempts to get his 9th win of the season.
