The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets defense stopped the Utah Utes offense on their opening drive of the second half and held Utah to a three and out to force a punt. Georgia Tech then continued to run the ball at will against the Utah defense on their first offensive drive of the second half.
Georgia Tech was in Utah territory and on a fourth and two play they attempted to draw Utah offsides, but instead one of the Georgia Tech offensive lineman jumped to make it a fourth and seven play and had to settle for a field goal. Justin Moore redeemed himself by connecting on his first goal of the day which was a 32-yard attempt to tie the game at 10 points apiece.
