Three-star North Carolina OLB Tremayne McNair’s letter of intent has reached the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets on national signing day. Linebackers were a focus of this class, and they’re pouring in early. He’s rated as a three-star by Rivals, the No. 32 OLB in the nation. He had 11 FBS offers, including Arkansas, Clemson, North Carolina, and South Carolina.
Chris Milton, a three-star ATH from Folkston, Georgia who’s expected to play A-back, signed up next. He’s ranked the state’s No. 32 player, with 14 FBS offers including Maryland, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Does South Carolina just offer everybody or what?
Trey Braun is also aboard, a three-star OT from Tallahassee who was offered by Arkansas, Illinois, UCF, and others. Braun is the first of four offensive linemen expected to join Tech’s 2011 class. Not a lot of drama here, as he’s been enrolled since January. Fun fact: he’s a high school heavyweight wrestling champ, ranked No. 1 in the state and finishing No. 3 in the nation at an AAU event.
