Jarrett Jack Arrested On DUI Charges In Gwinnett County

Jarrett Jack, former Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets point guard, was arrested Sunday morning for DUI, speeding, and failure to maintain lane. The Atlanta resident was charged with doin' 66 in a 45 in his Mercedes-Benz. As far as I know, this is the first time he's been in any serious trouble during his basketball career, though his terrible Wikipedia photo would make you think otherwise.

Jack, currently a New Orleans Hornets backup, led the Jackets to the 2004 NCAA title game and is perhaps the player most responsible for Paul Hewitt's contract. Wait, that came out wrong. Jack was the best player and emotional leader of the best Georgia Tech basketball team since Bobby Cremins' early 1990s teams.

Since leaving Tech, he's also played for the Trail Blazers, Pacers, and Raptors. He's in his sixth NBA season since being drafted in the first round in 2005, and has yet to miss more than three games in a season.
