Rutgers Outsourcing Ticket Sales To Atlanta Firm Counting Georgia Tech As A Client

The Rutgers Scarlet Knights have done all right in football attendance as of late -- they do better than most of their Big East brethren, at least, pulling in ACC or Pac-10 numbers. Unsatisfied, they're reportedly turning to Aspire Group, an Atlanta cold-calling agency that will not hesitate to cold-call your a** any day of the week and encourage you to buy college football tickets.

Last year I first withstood the Aspire Group's advances when they offered me Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets season tickets via phone as I purchased books at Borders, which is now out of business or something. Though I resisted, their success with Tech is touted in the article above as an encouraging sign for Rutgers.

New Jersey is a secret recruiting hotbed, so don't be surprised to see this service employed by Houston Nutt and Lane Kiffin in a gallingly creative manner at some point. Coach Ed Orgeron urges you to consider purchasing Rutgers season tickets, young man, by which we mean coming to win a Heisman Trophy at USC.
