ACC Basketball Tournament 2011 Bracket Update: Maryland Advances To Face Duke

EDIT: Complete, updated ACC Tournament quarterfinals bracket here.

Maryland grabbed an early lead and never relented while going on to defeat N.C. State by a score of 75-67. Jordan Williams recorded a double double finishing with 16 points and 13 rebounds. Dino Gregory added 11 points for Maryland.

N.C. State had plenty of opportunities but suffered through a tough shooting night where they made just 34% of their shots for the game. Freshman guard Ryan Harrow led the way for the Wolfpack with 12 points. Tracy Smith added 14 for the Wolfpack.

By virtue of this win, Maryland advances to second round of the ACC tournament where they will take on the Duke Blue Devils. The Blue Devils swept the Terrapins in two games this season by scores of 71-64 and 80-62. This game will match-up two of the top coaches in the ACC in Duke's Mike Krzyzewski and Maryland's Gary Williams.
