Two rounds of the 2011 ACC Tournament are in the books, and the conference is yet again putting on quite the show. Saturday features two semifinal match-ups with plenty of intrigue:
UNC vs. Clemson, 1 p.m., ACC Network/ESPN
Duke vs. Virginia Tech, 3 p.m., ACC Network/ESPN
While it will be a surprise if Sunday's championship game does not feature a rematch of Duke and North Carolina, don't count out Clemson and Virginia Tech just yet. The Hokies beat Duke in one of the conference's marquee games this season 64-60 a few weeks ago, and North Carolina escaped Clemson with a two point win a month ago.
Duke guard Nolan Smith is questionable for tomorrow's game according to Coach Mike Krzyzewski. The ACC Player of the Year injured a toe on his left foot in the win over Maryland and will most likely be a game-time decision. North Carolina won a thrilling quarterfinal game over Miami on Friday, overcoming a 19-point deficit to win on a buzzer-beating layup by Tyler Zeller.
