NCAA Bracket Update, Duke Vs. Hampton: Blue Devils Dominate In Kyrie Irving's Return

The Duke Blue Devils easily dispatched of Hampton Friday afternoon in their second round game of the 2011 tournament. Kyrie Irving led the way for Duke in his return from injury, scoring 14 points and had four rebounds in Duke' 87-45 win.

Irving shot 4-for-8 from the field and 2-for-2 from behind the arc in 20 minutes of game action. He looked rusty and out of sync early, but was able to get more playing time than expected which will be beneficial when the games get closer.

Mason and Miles Plumlee had solid games inside the paint for Duke. Miles had eight points and a season-high 13 boards, and Mason had six rebounds and 12 points. A total of 10 different players scored for the Blue Devils.

Duke shot 53.3% from the field and 47.4% from three. It is hard to judge a game like this, but Duke looked ready for a long tournament run.
