Kennesaw State Beats Georgia Tech At Sports Again, Adding Baseball Win

If I was in charge of Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets athletics scheduling, I'd make like General Sherman and stop traveling to Kennesaw. In Tuesday night's college baseball action, the Kennesaw St. Owls beat the No. 14 Jackets 7-6 in Stillwell Stadium on a walk-off single by Ray Anderson, giving J.B. Johnson the victory over Luke Bard. By No. 14 I mean they're ranked No. 14 in the country, so that's a pretty big deal. But college baseball is sort of random anyway, so it's kind of not.

This likely won't lead to the end of Danny Hall's tenure as Yellow Jackets coach, as KSU's Nov. 15 trouncing of Georgia Tech basketball in the Convocation Center may have helped do to Paul Hewitt. Of course, Hewitt was probably gone anyway, but that loss to Kennesaw was among those most frequently complained about by Tech fans.

The Owls now have wins over Georgia Tech and Georgia this season and are ranked second in the Atlantic Sun. Please don't let me keep gloating about beating Tech at stuff, y'all.
