The race for former N.C. State Wolfpack QB and minor league infielder Russell Wilson is believed to be down to the Auburn Tigers and Wisconsin Badgers. After several delays and false starts, it looks like we're about to find out his destination. Monday morning, ESPN announced Wilson will make his choice live on the network at 3:30 pm ET.
A betting man would have to give Wiscy the edge, simply based on the handful of positive reports coming out of Madison, but the morbidly curious would still love to see what Gus Malzahn could do with Wilson.
Fun experiment: watch whether this decision affects the odds of either team winning its conference. Auburn is currently a 50/1 longshot to repeat in the SEC, while Wisconsin is just behind favorite Nebraska.
