Brian Oliver Announces Seton Hall Transfer Via Twitter

Former Georgia Tech basketball player Brian Oliver announced his intentions to transfer to Seton Hall after taking an official visit to the school. After leaving Georgia Tech, Oliver had expressed interest in playing closer to his home and was reportedly considering several other Big East schools.

Oliver played in 58 career games with the Yellow Jackets and finished this past season as the team's third leading scorer at 10.5 points per game. He is a gifted outside shooter who made 99 career three-point baskets over his two-year career at Georgia Tech. Oliver elected to transfer after Paul Hewitt was fired and replaced by Brian Gregory.

As a transfer, Oliver will be required to sit out the upcoming season but will have two years of eligibility remaining to play with the Pirates.
