Georgia Tech Vs. Western Carolina TV Schedule: Football Back, Football Back

At 7: 30 pm ET on ESPN3.com, the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets play Western Carolina, and that's wonderful. College football is back, Georgia Tech will be one of the first several teams to play on the opening Thursday night -- no shame in that, Wisconsin is playing too! -- and we have three-ish months ahead of us during which the world is correct.

Roddy Jones will play, after a doubtful bout with the maybe-not list, not that the Jackets will really need need his services. If everything goes according to plan, he and his fellow starters will be sitting by the fourth quarter anyway.

To watch: quarterbacks. This is Tevin Washington's game as an on-purpose starter, but both Synjyn Days and Vad Lee have developed intrigue around town. Expect all three to play, and expect too many people to make too much of comparing their stats.

The Catamounts are debuting a pistol offense, which could get messy quickly, but it will still be fun to see two specialized attacks in one game. Plus, with all that running you'll probably be home in time to watch way more college football. It's on TV! College football is on TV!
