Georgia Tech Vs. UNC Halftime Score: Roddy Jones Touchdown Extends Lead

Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets quarterback Tevin Washington has now completed 17 passes on the year, with eight of them going for touchdowns. He found Stephen Hillhe of the GIF-worthy one-handed catches, for a wide-open 59-yard score to make it 10-7 Jackets over the North Carolina Tar Heels. Just before halftime, Roddy Jones plowed in for a short yardage touchdown, putting Tech up 17-7.

Washington has turned the ball over twice, however, throwing a pick into something like triple coverage and losing a fumble. That was his first pick of the season. Considering Tech has missed a field goal, gone for another field goal, and turned the ball over twice ... it could be a whole lot worse for the Heels right now.

Hill has been fantastic, catching four passes for 118 yards already, the last of which was a 34-yarder that included a sneaky shove to clear out some space. "Sneaky." #codedlanguage

Tech's defense has forced four punts already, even managing to block one of them. Other than UNC's opening drive, the Heels haven't been able to get a whole lot done with the ball. Pretty impressed so far. The yardage differential: 272 to 84.

UNC's best player, defensive end Quinton Coples, was spotted on the bench with his head in his hands for several minutes. Carolina has some work to do.
