The Georgia Bulldogs will be trying to avoid an 0-4 start to SEC play when they host the Tennessee Volunteers Wednesday night at Stegeman Coliseum. The game is the start of a three game homestand for the Bulldogs.
The Bulldogs dropped their first three conference games to Alabama, Florida and Vanderbilt. The Volunteers shocked Florida in its SEC opener but has since lost close contests to Mississippi State and Kentucky. Tennessee is led by 6-foot-1 guard Trae Golden who is averaging 14.2 points and 5.4 assists per game.
Georgia is led by freshman Kentavious Caldwell-Pope who is averaging 14.5 points and five rebounds per game. Gerald Robinson Jr. is also averaging 13.4 points and 3.4 assists per contest for the Bulldogs. The two teams split the season series last season with the visiting team winning both times. Tennessee leads the all-time series 91-53.
