Georgia is still in search of its first SEC victory of the season but is off to a good start leading Tennessee 27-24 at halftime.
The Bulldogs have led since the outset behind eight points from Gerald Robinson. Donte Williams and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope each have six points for the Bulldogs at halftime. Georgia made 11-31 attempts for 35 percent and Robinson is just 3-12 in the first half but did also dish out three assists.
Trae Golden leads Tennessee with nine points Jeronne Maymon added six points while Cameron Tatum added four. Neither team was effective from long range with both going 1-8 from beyond-the-arc in the first half. Tennessee holds a slight 17-15 rebounding advantage over the Bulldogs but Georgia has more assists and fewer turnovers through the first twenty minutes of action.
