Jacksonville, Florida safety Lynn Griffin, rated a three-star by most services, has flipped on the Southern Miss. Golden Eagles after taking a Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets visit, according to Rivals.com. The Trinity Christian DB has been committed to USM since August, but has taken multiple visits to Atlanta.
In December, he'd called the exit of coach Larry Fedora and company a factor in his re-opened recruiting.
Standing six feet tall and weighing 206 pounds, he's Tech's 16th 2012 commitment and fourth pure defensive back. Secondary has become a position of relative strength for this class, with all four being rated three stars.
Elsewhere, the Jackets picked up a commit from Statesboro OL Freddie Burden and saw DE Francis Kallon's stock improve -- he was granted a fourth star by Rivals.
