Georgia Tech Vs. Virginia Score: Cavaliers Jump Out To 35-17 Lead Over Yellow Jackets

It was a forgettable first half for Georgia Tech who trail the Virginia Cavaliers 35-17 at halftime at Philips Arena. The Yellow Jackets had a tough time finding the mark in the first half hitting only 8-26 first half attempts.

Kammeon Holsey leads the Yellow Jackets with five points at the intermission and Mfon Udofia has four. If Georgia Tech has any hope of getting back in the game then they are going to have to get much more from Glen Rice Jr who scored two points on 1-5 shooting in the first half.

Tony Bennett 's Cavaliers have controlled the game and Joe Harris leads all scorers with 11 points. Mike Scott added eight points and five rebounds Jontel Evans has six points and three assists.

It wasn't all good news for the Cavaliers as center Assane Sene went down with an apparent ankle injury late in the first half and had to be helped to the locker room. Sene finished with two points and three rebounds in the first half.
