Georgia Tech will try to put Thursday's 70-38 loss at home to Virginia out of its mind on Saturday when the Yellow Jackets travel to Littlejohn Coliseum for a matchup with the Clemson Tigers. Despite scoring the fewest points in a game since 1982 against Virginia, first-year Yellow Jackets coach Brian Gregory is trying to approach things in a positive manner.
"We're a much better team than we played [Thursday] night, and we're a much better team than we were at the beginning of the year," Gregory said. "We are making some steady progress, and we just need to continue to do that."
Tech has lost three straight games to Clemson who is also in the midst of a three-game losing streak. However, Clemson is second in the ACC in scoring defense which could prove to be a big problem for the Yellow Jackets given their recent struggles.
