Georgia nearly erased a 14 point deficit in the final 5:28 seconds of the game before coming up just short 66-63 after missing two opportunities to tie the game in the game's final seconds. Despite the comeback, Mark Fox was not happy post game with his team's performance:
"We didn't deserve a chance to win it, in my opinion,"
At 10-9 and 1-4 in the SEC things won't be getting any easier for the Bulldogs when the Kentucky Wildcats come to town on Tuesday night. The Wildcats will likely reclaim the No. 1 ranking in the country after previously unbeaten Syracuse fell on Saturday.
"We did not respond to success very well; that's obvious," Fox said. "That's my job to get them to put the last game behind them. I'm not sure we did that."
