2012 SEC Basketball Standings: Undefeated Kentucky About To Visit Georgia

After falling just three points short of a furious comeback upset of Ole Miss on Saturday afternoon, things only seem to be getting worse for the Georgia Bulldogs - UGA (1-4 in SEC play) will host Kentucky 19-1 (5-0 SEC) at 9 p.m. ET on Tuesday, likely extending the Dawgs' woes in conference play.

Meanwhile, Florida and Vanderbilt trail the Wildcats, while a logjam of six 3-2 or 2-3 teams take up most of the SEC standings. Tennessee, the Dawgs and South Carolina bring up the rear. It's interesting to note that in the first hoops season without East and West division standings, three "East" teams are on top of the SEC, followed by the entire former Western Division, then the other three former Eastern division schools.
