Georgia Tech Football Recruiting 2012: Receiver Travin Henry Commmits

Travin Henry, a wide receiver from Cook County, committed to the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets after a quick weekend of renewed interest by both parties. According to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, the 6-3, 227 lb. wide receiver had been in touch with the Jackets since his sophomore year, but not much recently:

"I’d been hearing from Georgia Tech since my sophomore year but really not a lot recently," Henry told the AJC. "Two weeks ago, they called my coach out of nowhere and it just went from there."

Henry committed to Georgia Tech at the end of his weekend visit, choosing the Jackets over Vanderbilt, Middle Tennessee State, Memphis and Kentucky. Henry is rated as a two-star prospect by Scout.com and a three-star prospect by Rivals.com.
