ACC football standings 2012: Georgia Tech trails Miami by 2 games

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets are now fifth in the ACC's Coastal Division. Where do the rest of the ACC teams stand this week?

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (2-4 overall, 1-3 ACC) enter their game against the Boston College Eagles down two games in the ACC Coastal Division. The Miami Hurricanes currently lead the Coastal Division record with a record of 3-1, 4-3 overall. Trailing the Hurricanes are three teams tied at 2-1 in the conference.

The Duke Blue Devils (5-2) and the Virginia Tech Hokies (4-3) are in that mix after the Hokies' defeated the Blue Devils, 41-20 on Saturday. The North Carolina Tarheels (5-2) are also tied, but they are ineligible for post season play this season. The Virginia Cavaliers (2-5) bring up the rear in the Coastal Division having not won an ACC game this season.

In the Atlantic Division, The Maryland Terrapins (4-2) currently lead the division with a 2-0 conference record. The Florida St. Seminoles (6-1) are in second at 3-1, the Clemson Tigers (5-1) third at 2-1, the N.C. State Wolfpack (4-2) fourth at 1-1, the Wake Forest Demon Deacons (3-3) fifth at 1-3 and the Boston College Eagles (1-5) are last in the division at 0-3.
