Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets head coach Paul Johnson has said that A-back Synjyn Days has had 'a good week of practice' after being limited in last week's win against the Boston College Eagles. While Johnson didn't go into detail as to why Days didn't play that much, but Ken Sugiura of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution said that Johnson suggested that it was an off-field issue dealing with accountability.
So far this season, Days has been adjusting to a back up role at A-back after being moved from quarterback. So far this season, Days has run for 32 yards on seven attempts with a touchdown. In his freshman year, he scored four touchdowns while running for 237 yards on 48 carries. As a quarterback Days completed 8-of-12 passes for 198 yards.
The Yellow Jackets will play the BYU Cougars on Saturday with kickoff scheduled for 3 p.m. from Bobby Dodd Stadium in Atlanta. The game will be broadcast on ACC regional television.
