BYU vs. Georgia Tech odds: Yellow Jackets are 3-point favorites

Georgia Tech is a three-point favorite against BYU on Saturday.

Georgia Tech goes into Saturday's game against BYU as a 3-point favorite at home by the betting experts. It's a low spread because these teams counter each other so specifically. It's the Yellow Jackets' stout running game against the Cougars' proven run defense.

The matchup pits Georgia Tech's No. 24-ranked offense, averaging 37.7 points a game, against a Cougars defense that's only allowing 14 points a game. The Cougars are also allow just 145 rushing yards per game when their on the road. The Jackets, however, rank No. 3 in rushing offense at home.

The Jackets' passing game is averaging 158.1 yards per game, but the Cougars' secondary allows 183.8 yards through the air.

BYU dropped its most recent contest in a 17-14 decision on the road against Notre Dame.

In their last action, Georgia Tech was a 37-17 winner at home against Boston College. Zach Laskey ran for 101 rushing yards.
