2012 Georgia Tech Spring Game: T-Day Scheduled For April 20

According to the Georgia Tech official athletic site, the Yellow Jackets annual spring football game will be played on Friday, April 20 in Bobby Dodd Stadium. The game has been on Saturday afternoon for several years and the Friday-night game is somewhat of a break from tradition, but athletic director Wayne Hogan says that the players are looking forward to playing under the lights.

"We anticipate this being a great event for our fans," associate athletic director Wayne Hogan said. "With activities being planned for both pre- and post-game, this will be a mini-festival that should be a lot of fun for our fans, alumni and students.

"The feedback from our players is that they will be excited to play a game under the lights at Bobby Dodd Stadium."

The pre-game activities are scheduled to start at 7 p.m. on Callaway Plaza and the game, which doesn't have an official start time yet, is expected to start at 7:30 or 7:45. There will also be post-game activities, including a fireworks display.
