The ACC Tournament is used to featuring a heated, ugly in-state rivalry from the Carolinas, but before UNC can see Duke in the final, they'll have to deal with the upstart Woflpack. NC State upset the No. 4 seed Virginia 67-64 Friday for their second win in as many days at the tournament, bolstering their campaign for an at-large bid after entering the week somewhere in the middle of the bubble.
No. 1 seeded UNC (28-4) cruised on Friday, beating Maryland 85-69, with the biggest concern of the entire day coming with an injury to defensive star John Henson. Henson was fouled early in the first half and landed hard on his left wrist, but returned to the game after X-rays were negative.
