Florida State Vs. North Carolina Final Score: Seminoles Hang On To Beat Tar Heels 85-82

The Florida State Seminoles were able to hang on in the ACC tournament final as they defeat the North Carolina Tar Heels 85-82 to bring the first ever basketball conference championship to Tallahassee.

UNC went on a 9-2 run in the final three minutes of the game to bring the score to 83-82 with just 32 seconds remaining in the game, but clutch free throw shooting, tough defense and PJ Hairston's missed three at the end of the game helped Leonard Hamilton's team achieve the feat of beating Duke and North Carolina twice in the same season.

Michael Snaer led the way for the Seminoles with 18 points, including making 4 of his 5 three-point attempts, and in total FSU had seven players score 9 points or more in the game versus the Tar Heels. Harrison Barnes led all scorers in the game with 23 points and 7 rebounds, but the struggle for the Tar Heels were the lack of contributions outside of their stars. Reggie Bullock and James Michael McAdoo combined to shoot 3-of-19 in the game for just 11 points in total.

With the win, Florida State should end up with a top 4 seed in the NCAA tournament, while North Carolina will probably hang on to a No. 1 seed.
