The 2012 ACC Tournament will get under way on Thursday at 12 p.m. with first round action from Philips Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. Maryland and Wake Forest will kick off the day's action and will be followed by N.C. Sate and Boston College.
Clemson and Virginia Tech will open up the evening session with the home standing Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets taking on Miami to close things out. Thursday's winners will advance to the quarterfinals on Friday where they will face the top four finishers in the regular season standings who all earned first-round byes in the tournament.
