The ACC Tournament begins today at Philips Arena. This means the area around the CNN Center will be littered with fans of many an ACC team, including maybe even Boston College! Among the most well-represented schools, however, should be the North Carolina Tar Heels and Duke Blue Devils. It's like when the SEC Tournament comes to town and Kentucky fans come pouring out of every cranny. They just care the most.
In light of that, SB Nation's own Amy K. Nelson spent an evening at a split Duke-UNC bar, which is sort of like the Tobacco Road basketball version of the Masquerade. Sorry Dukies, but to Hell with you -- you're on the bottom floor. UNC gets the Purgatory equivalent, and Rutgers may have been promised Heaven if it can really deliver that New York TV market.
