Tyler Kidney Disciplined By Paul Johnson Following Fraternity Fight

Tyler Kidney has been disciplined by head football coach Paul Johnson for his involvement in a fight at a tech fraternity house. Kidney is to complete 25 hours of community service, complete extra conditioning work and write letters of apology to the students involved said Johnson in his statement.

"I am extremely disappointed in Tyler Kidney's actions on the night of April 13 and have spoken to him about the consequences of his poor decision-making," Johnson said in the statement. "This is an unfortunate incident and is not reflective of Tyler's attitude and actions during the time he has been in our program."

Kidney is listed as a 6-foot-2, 262 pound offensive lineman who walked on to the Tech football team and earned a scholarship last fall. He started six games last season and is in competition for a starting job this season.
