Georgia Tech Football Schedule: ACC Sets Times For Presbyterian, Virginia, MTSU Kickoffs

Looking to avoid the sweltering late summer heat Georgia Tech requested some night games for the early portion of its 2012 season. The ACC granted the request by setting the first three games of the Yellow Jackets' season for at least 3:30 p.m. starts.

The Yellow Jackets will open the season on Monday, September 3 in Blacksburg against Virginia Tech in a nationally televised matchup on ESPN. Tech will open the home portion of its schedule five days later against Presbyterian which is now scheduled to start at 7 p.m. on ESPN3.

The only game in September that kickoff hasn't been announced as of yet is the September 22 matchup with Miami.

Here is a look at the early portion of the Yellow Jackets' schedule:

Monday, September 3 - At Virginia Tech - 8 p.m. ESPN

Saturday, September 8 - Presbyterian - 7 p.m. ESPN3

Saturday, September 15 - Virginia - 3:30 p.m. ESPNU
