Georgia Tech picked up their fourth commitment for the 2013 class on Wednesday when Maryland defensive tackle Darius Commissiong picked the Yellow Jackets from about 20 offers.
Commissiong is a 6-foot-2, 295 pound defensive tackle that is rated as a 3-star prospect. He was reportedly sold on the idea of playing for the Yellow Jackets after meeting with defensive coordinator Al Groh last week.
"He told me everything I need to hear to make me want to go there - it's a good school academically and I fit in well with the defensive scheme there,"
The Yellow Jackets have a young roster and will have limited spots available for their 2013 recruiting class and are only expected to sign about 15 players. Commissiong is the first defensive player to commit publicly for the 2013 class.
