Georgia Tech Football 2012: Yellow Jackets Poised To Be In Top 25

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets are going to have a really impressive running game with their combination of a sound offensive line and defensive backs Orwin Smith and David Sims running behind them. But will that be enough to put them in the top 25?

The National Football Post thinks so. It does pose the question, however, of how the Yellow Jackets will replace wide receiver Stephen Hill who left for the NFL this season. After Hill, Georgia Tech's next productive receiver was Smith, who caught the ball out of the backfield as a running back, meaning the Yellow Jackets effectively had no second option or No. 2 receiver at all.

This from the Post, ranking Georgia Tech at No. 20:

The Yellow Jackets will be dominant offensively once again next year with quarterback Tevin Washington and backs Orwin Smith and David Sims working behind an intact offensive line. But who will replace big-play receiver Stephen Hill? Al Groh's defense must continue to make strides.
