Georgia Tech Football Recruiting: Tech Hosting 'Yellow Jackets Football Camp' This Weekend

Georgia Tech will hope to find some more worthy prosects this weekend, as the football program hosts "Yellow Jackets Football Camp" on Friday and Saturday.

Camps are very important for both prospects and coaches, who won't get a better look at players than when they're working out on campus. The Yellow Jackets earned a commitment from Florida defensive back John Marvin a few weeks after he earned an offer from Tech at a camp.

The recruiting circuit has changed. While the top prospects often have offers as sophomores, the under-the-radar players can use camps as an opportunity to make an impression and earn an offer.

Tech currently has 10 commitments for its 2013 class, with only four or five spots remaining.
