The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets picked up their second commitment on Saturday as the landed Fayetteville, Ga., wide receiver Antonio Messick. Messick comes in at 6-foot-2, 170-pounds and currently is not rated by the recruiting sites, but he did have an offer from the Charlotte 49ers and was being recruited heavily by the Georgia Bulldogs and Virginia Tech Hokies.
Messick was offered a scholarship after he had a good showing at Georgia Tech's camp Friday night. It also helped that he has experience as a wide receiver in a run-first spread option attack.
One tip I do have for Messick is that he may want to change his twitter background away from a UGA flag, and something with a Georgia Tech theme instead.
