The state's top offensive line recruit has been committed to Georgia Tech for some time, but Shamire DeVine worried some Yellow Jacket fans when he went to a Tennessee camp earlier this summer.
He still wants to visit some other places; however, he reiterated his commitment to Tech in comments to the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
"I want to go to Hawaii, California and New York - all the scenery places. But I'm 100-percent committed to Georgia Tech. There's nothing on God's green earth that will change my mind about that, besides them dropping me. That's it. I love it there."
DeVine committed to the Yellow Jackets in May over Florida State, Georgia, USC, Florida and others. Scout.com's Chad Simmons had plenty of praise for DeVine.
"Georgia Tech is getting a heck of an offensive lineman with so much upside. He's still underdeveloped physically, from a strength standpoint. He can get so much stronger in the upper and lower body. He may end up playing in college at 365 pounds."
