Georgia Tech isn't exactly expected to take the ACC by storm this season, but the Yellow Jackets are playing in what SB Nation Studios considers to be the first big game on the conference schedule when they take on Virginia Tech on Sept. 3.
In fact, the big games are all about Virginia Tech and Florida State - whether or not these teams can live up to preseason expectations of being on top of the ACC. Here is a list of some of the big names going into the season:
QB Tajh Boyd - Clemson, JR
QB Logan Thomas - Virginia Tech, JR
WR Sammy Watkins - Clemson, SOPH
RB Perry Jones - Virginia, SENIOR
RB Gio Benard - UNC, SOPH
