Miami Vs. Georgia Tech: Yellow Jackets Suffer Injuries On All 3 Units

The Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets suffered another tough loss on Saturday and also sustained several injuries on both sides of the ball. The injuries even extended to special teams, when punter Sean Poole was forced to make a tackle and appeared to injure his arm. Paul Johnson had to use freshman Ryan Rodwell for the rest of the game, burning his redshirt.

The Yellow Jackets have had to shuffle the offensive line early this season, and they had to re-arrange on the fly again on Saturday against Miami. Offensive lineman Will Jackson injured his leg and did not return, forcing Tyler Kidney into action at tackle. Jackson had started the season at guard but was playing his second straight game on the outside at tackle.

On the defensive side of the ball, cornerback Louis Young injured his right arm and did not return after leaving the game in the second half. Young was already playing with a padding over his thumb, which he fractured during fall camp.
