Par 3 Contest 2011 Results: Luke Donald Eliminates Himself From Masters Tournament Wagering

Count Luke Donald out of the 2011 Masters Tournament, as his Par 3 Contest victory assures he'll miss out on getting a win in the tournament itself, which begins Thursday morning. The English player shot 5-under, one of the better scores in contest history. Raymond Floyd and Angel Cabrera finished close behind, shooting 4-under each.

Georgia Tech's Stewart Cink nearly recorded one of only two holes-in-one for the day, with his shot rimming out of the welcoming hole No. 9. He celebrated with his caddies, thinking the ball had successfully crossed the water and found the hole. Craig Stadler scored the day's only ace, the 73rd in contest history.

Cink finished 3-under. Among other players with Peach State ties, Bubba Watson shot 1-under, Matt Kuchar scored 3-over, and veteran Larry Mize went 4-over. For complete scores from the contest, visit the tournament's official website.
