Tiger Woods needed a strong performance during "Moving Day" of the Masters to put himself in title contention in Augusta. Woods got started off strong for the second day in a row, as huge birdies on the third and fourth hole pushed him up the leaderboard. However, untimely bogeys on holes six and nine quickly killed any momentum that Woods had begun to build up. Woods did manage to keep his composure after the bogeys and played even golf throughout his back nine.
Woods missed several chances to eat into the deficit but missed birdie putts and getting on the green proved to be a bit difficult for the Stanford alum. The leader of the tournament is Jason Dufner, who currently sits atop of the leaderboard at 5-under par as his third round is now underway.
